MRS. WILLIAMS DIED MONDAY
Mrs. Minnie L. Williams, wife of Dr. W. D. Williams, died at their home in the southern part of town Monday afternoon about two o'clock, after an illness of about four weeks. Her death was a surprise to her many friends, they no suspecting the end was near, though they knew she had been very sick.
Interment was had in the town cemetery Wednesday morning after funeral services at the home conducted by Rev. Tinsley of the Methodist church assisted by Rev. Ballew of the Baptist church. A large concourse of people attended the services.
Mrs. Williams was esteemed by all Homerville people and her acquaintances elsewhere as one of those good noble women whom it is a pleasure to know and enjoy the association of. She was a member of the Methodist church here, and lived a consistent Christian life.
She was born in Muscogee county, Feb. 6th, 1867, and was therefore 57 years age. With her husband and family they removed to Homerville in 1914 and about two years ago they removed into their new home in the southern part of town which town-people considered one of the best homes built here in several years.
She is survived by her husband and Misses Minnie M. Williams and Lucile Williams, and by a nephew W. A. Johnson whom she had reared from babyhood by reasons of the death of the parents of the latter.
