STRICKLAND

REIDSVILLE, May 16 -- Mrs. Francis Strickland, wife of Henry Strickland, a prominent farmer of Tattnall county, died at her home one mile north of Reidsville early this morning after an illness of three weeks from pneumonia. She was 68 years of age and had lived in this county practically all her life. The family is a prominent one, being connected with some of the best known people in this part of the state. She is survived by her husband and seven children: Mrs. J. J. Easterling, Mrs. J. J. Kennedy, G. E. and E. C. Strickland, of Reidsville; Mrs. H. E. Purvis, of Lew; Mrs. Tootle of Highland, and Dr. H. M. Strickland, of Live Oak, Fla.

The interment yesterday afternoon was in the cemetery at Shiloh church, five miles below Reidsville.
