BELL
LOUISVILLE, Jan. 29 -- The remains of Capt. W. J. Bell, who died at his home at Wadley Saturday night, were interred here today.
Captain Bell was 68 years old and was for many years a resident of Louisville. Before the Louisville and Wadley Railroad was built he operated a daily hack line from Louisville to Bartow for many years, handling mail, express and passengers. When the railroad was built he was given a conductor's place on the road, which he held continuously until about nine months ago he was forced to give it up on account of ill health. H. W. Dosher Lodge No. 57, Knights of Pythias, Wadley, had charge of the funeral. Captain Bell is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, Otis Bell and W. J. Bell, Jr., of Waycross, and Mrs. Robert Reddy, of Macon, and Miss Lida Bell, of Wadley.
