Mrs. D. F. Gossett Dies Suddenly At Her Home

Mrs. Roxie Elizabeth Gossett, aged 46 years, died at her home near Pomona on Wednesday afternoon at 6 o'clock. Mrs. Gossett was stricken with paralysis on Wednesday afternoon and died a short while afterward.

She was a member of the Friend's church of Pomona and was actively engaged in its institutions. She had many friends who will mourn her death.

Surviving are her husband, D. F. Gossett; six children, Albert, William, James, Lawrence, Viola and Elsie Gossett, all of Pomona; two brothers, Logan Edwards, of Liberty, and Monroe Edwards, of Randolph county; and one sister, Mrs. Emma Newman, of Guilford county.

Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at Hickory Grove church, Rev. Mr. Holmes officiating. Interment will be in the church graveyard.
